AI Property Pin Placement

AerialPin reads the GPS position, compass heading and gimbal angle already stored in your drone photo, works out which nearby places the camera can actually see, and places the pins for you. What used to be a slow manual pass over every aerial property image becomes a single press.

How it works

How to use AI Auto Place

01

Upload your drone photo

Drop a JPEG or DNG straight off the drone. It is read in your browser, so nothing is uploaded while you work.

02

Define the property boundary

Draw the boundary of the property you are marketing, or skip it if you only need surrounding points of interest.

03

Run AI Auto Place

Choose how many pins you want and which categories matter, then let AerialPin position them.

04

Review and adjust

Drag anything you want to move. The layout keeps labels clear of each other as you go.

05

Export your image

Export at original resolution, ready for the listing.

Benefits

Why use AI Auto Place?

Save time

Cut out the repetitive part of annotating aerial photos so you spend your time on the shots themselves.

Positions from real data

Placement comes from the photo's own metadata and a camera model, not from guesswork or a fixed template.

Consistent results

Every image comes out with the same spacing, typography and colours, which is what makes a set of listing photos look considered.

Built for property marketing

The defaults are set up around real estate drone photography rather than general-purpose image editing.

No design software needed

Everything runs in the browser. There is nothing to install and no layer stack to manage.

Pins land where the projection puts them, not on a generic grid. Anything the camera is not pointing at is left out rather than nudged into frame, so what you export matches what is really there.

FAQ

AI Auto Place questions

What is AI Property Pin Placement?

It is AerialPin's AI Auto Place tool. It finds the places around your property and positions a labelled pin for each one on your aerial photo, without you placing them by hand.

How does AerialPin place property pins automatically?

It reads the GPS coordinates, altitude, compass heading and gimbal angle stored in the drone photo, then projects each nearby place through a camera model to work out where it falls in the frame. Places the camera is not pointing at are left out.

Can I adjust the pins after they are placed?

Yes. Every pin and label can be dragged, renamed, restyled or deleted after placement, and the layout keeps the remaining labels from overlapping.

What if my photo has no GPS data?

Automatic placement needs GPS, altitude, heading and gimbal angle. Without them AerialPin will tell you which is missing rather than guessing, and you can still place pins manually.
