AI Sky Replacement and Relighting
A listing does not always get shot at the right hour. AI Relight takes the photo you have and relights it to the one you wanted: bright day, golden hour, twilight or a clear sky over an overcast shoot. Only the sky and the light falling on the scene change.

How to use AI Relight
Open your aerial photo
Drop a JPEG or DNG straight off the drone. It is read in your browser, and the original file is never altered.
Pick a time of day
Bright day, golden hour, twilight or clear sky. Each one is a different lighting brief, not a filter.
Choose the output size
Standard for web listings, high for print and brochures. The price in credits is shown before you press generate.
Generate and compare
The relight takes about a minute. Every version is saved, so you can switch between them and back to the original at any time.
Add pins and export
Pins, labels and boundaries sit on their own layer, so they work the same on a relit photo as on the original.
Why use AI Relight?
The property stays the property
The model is constrained to the sky and the lighting. Buildings, roofs, fences, driveways, vehicles and landscaping are left exactly as photographed.
Shoot once, deliver several looks
One flight can produce a daytime hero shot and a twilight version for the same listing, without a second visit at dusk.
Nothing is overwritten
The original file is untouched and always one press away, and every generated version is kept so you can compare them side by side.
Built for property marketing
The defaults are set up around real estate drone photography rather than general-purpose image editing.
No design software needed
Everything runs in the browser. There is nothing to install and no layer stack to manage.
One photo, four times of day
Every column is the same shot, relit. Press one to expand it. Nothing on the ground moves.

One photograph, four times of day. Every version is kept alongside the untouched original, so you can generate a look twice and keep the better one.
AI Relight questions
What is AI sky replacement?
It replaces the sky in a photograph and relights the scene to match, so a picture taken under flat cloud can be delivered as a clear day or a golden-hour shot. In AerialPin the tool is called AI Relight.
Does it change the property itself?
No. The instructions given to the model explicitly forbid adding, removing or altering any building, structure, vehicle or planting, and forbid re-framing the shot. Only the sky and the light falling on the existing scene change.
Is it honest to use a relit photo in a listing?
Relighting is common in property marketing, but a listing image must not misrepresent what is being sold. Check every result against the original before you publish it, and follow the rules of the portal you are listing on. In Australia, misleading imagery engages the Australian Consumer Law.
Can I still add pins to a relit photo?
Yes. Pins, labels and boundaries live on a separate layer in proportional coordinates, so they stay exactly where you put them whichever version of the image is on screen.
What happens to my original photo?
It is never modified. Each relight is stored as an additional version alongside it, and you can switch back to the original, or delete any version, at any time.
